2 hour run
Today I ran for two hours around town. I had my phone wrapped in bags in case it rained so I didn't record the distance. I just missed the rain but did catch some wind. It wasn't a very good run as I could not seem to get out of first gear. It's the type of run you hope only to have once every four years.

1 hour complex run
Good run. It seems easier to run faster when listening to Rocky themes than Ira Glass on This American Life. Go figure.

5 miles
I ran a tired 5 mile today. My legs were a bit heavy from yesterday's long run. Hope to do the one hour complex workout tomorrow night and Monday night.

17 miles and windy!
Today I ran 17 miles. It was very windy and overcast. It was nice to be out for a long run. It wasn't a fast run but that wasn't the goal.
Love the iPhone. I was able to take an important work related call, respond to an email from a boss, and accept a new contact on the run.

7 miles: Loops at the park
Ran around the local park as it was raining and I don't trust drivers here in the rain. Hoping again for a longer run on Friday.

7.5 miles
The little wifey was home today because she was sick. So I was able to go on an afternoon run while she played with the boy. I ran to the park and did a loop there. I didn't take my GPS just my iPod shuffle but I know from experience this was a 7.5 mile run. It was a good run. I'm going to make more of an effort to get out on runs at night during the week.

One hour Sunday night run
Tonight I ran for an hour around the complex. It was a mix of hills and straight running. I had a slow start but good last half. Thinking of moving to time based training for everything but the 30 mile training runs.
5 mile Starbuck run (Saturday)
Saturday I ran the 5 miles to Starbucks and back. It was a decent run. The Friday long run got push aside by a sick stay-at-home kid.

7.5 miles
Today I ran 7.5 miles. It was a good running day since it was cool and overcast. I forgot my water bottles today but it didn't really matter since I was not running very far. Hope to do a longer run on Friday.

One hour complex run
Tonight I did a one hour running workout in the complex. It was a mix of hill and just plain running. It went well for how much I have been running lately (not much).
Up next: The plan is to do a moderate run Wednesday and try for a long run on Friday.

5.7 miles (Friday)
Yesterday I ran 5.7 miles. It was good running more than 3 miles but the hills in CA made those three just as hard as this run if not harder. I got picked up for my good paying but busy work job for the spring and summer. I'm not sure exactly how it will affect my running time but it will no doubt leave less time for running very long training runs.
Jan 25- Feb 8: Five 3 mile runs
I was in California for two weeks with the family. Running time was somewhat limited so I ran a hill route. It was about two miles up and one mile down. It was great to run in the cools hills in Berkeley, CA.
