5 miles: Starbucks run

This morning I ran to Starbucks and back. Decent run. I may work towards doing this run every (most?) weekday mornings. It's a good way to start the day, a decent distance but without taking up to much of the work day.

4.5 miles (?): Around the area

This afternoon I ran about 4.5 miles. My GPS app got shut off by mistake around mile 3.  The photo is from the run on Monday.

5 mile Starbucks run (Tuesday Morning)

Thursday morning I ran to town and back. It wasn't the best time to run due to traffic but the work schedule is going to force morning runs.

5.4 miles: Water Bill Run (Sunday night)

Last night I ran over the water bill. I took more of a loop approach and it ended up being a bit shorter than normal.

Today I ran 10.2 miles around town. The miles were covered.

5.4 Sunday and 3.2 on Monday and Tuesday

Work is getting very busy, these posts will likely get shorter if that's possible.

I ran 5.4 on Sunday = Bad (it was 89 degrees).

I ran 3.2 on Monday and Tuesday = Good.

Two good but short runs in a row.  I'll take it.

1.3 miles: Treadmill

Today I did a 1.3 miles treadmill run. The wife is away so going out for a run is not possible since I'm on full time kid duty.  I will do a longer run tomorrow as she returns tonight.

3.2 miles (Friday)

Friday morning I ran 3.2 miles around the local soccer park. Decent run but hard to focus.

3 miles: Better pace but hot

Today I ran 3 miles in the local area. My legs were better than yesterday and so was my pace. The plan is for a 5 mile run tomorrow morning.

4.3 miles (Tuesday): Run streak effect?

Last night I ran 4.3 miles around the local soccer fields. My legs seemed dead, maybe a result of the run streak(?).

Sunday I ran nine miles in a loop around town. It was far from my best nine mile run pace but it was done.

1 mile: Last night (Saturday)

Last night I ran 1 mile around the complex. This was one of those runs to keep the run streak alive. I was tired from the trip and Friday night out with the work gang .  Today I'll go for a longer run.

3 miles: Friday morning.

Friday morning before my meeting I ran for 3 miles around the river in Iowa.

3.4 Miles: Not so flat.

Today I ran 3.4 miles in Dubuque, Iowa.  This was pretty good run. I felt like a runner again.  The next two days will be busy (on a work trip) but I will get out for a run before intense all day sitting begins.



3 miles (Wednesday): Around the complex.

Wednesday night I ran 3 miles around the complex. It was a short, but "faster" run. Better.

4.2 Miles: Around the complex, start of run streak.

Tonight I ran 4.2 miles around the complex.  I started a running streak I will keep going until the day after the Franklin half marathon on June 22, 2013. The rule is simply to run at least 10 minutes per day. Most people start these with the aim for doing it for year. I don't know if I will like this or not which is why I am just doing this for about a month and a half.

I'll see how I feel about it after the half marathon.

Last night I ran 4.6 miles. It was a fairly good run.

Friday and Saturday I ran 3.8 miles around the local soccer park.

8.5 Miles: Distance covered.



Today I went 8.5 miles. I had some decent sections of good running, others not so much. The point today was just getting some miles in and time on the feet. I think I have been sitting too much for my job.



3-4 miles Monday and Wednesday

Monday and Wednesday evening I ran about 3-4 miles. Both bad runs. Oh well. Hoping to do a longer run later today or tomorrow.
